TC6 titanium alloy properties

TC6 titanium alloy features: high strength and toughness, low density. TC6 titanium alloy in normal annealing state has good stability of structure and properties below 300 ℃/5000h, and its high temperature properties such as instantaneous tensile, creep and rupture at different temperatures are equivalent to those in double annealing and isothermal annealing state. The TC6 titanium alloy semi-finished products after ordinary annealing treatment can meet the service temperature (below 300 ℃) requirements of aircraft structural parts.

TC6 is a two-phase titanium alloy with complex microstructure. It has the advantages of low density, high strength and corrosion resistance.

It is more complicated than the general titanium alloy processing procedure, and has more fire times. Different forging temperatures have a great impact on its structure. Therefore, its material cost is expensive and it is difficult to forge.

Application: aircraft structure
